Holidaymakers taking more risks than they think

A new report from esure reveals that a quarter of holidaymakers chose their destination based upon the provision of adventurous sports and activities.
With 88% of holidaymakers having previously carried out adventurous pastimes while on holiday, research has show than 8%, which equates to some 2.8 million Brits, got injured in the process.
The study goes on to say that 10% of Brits think that they’re protected under their travel insurance as they consider all travel insurance policies cover adventure sports.
22% of Brits on holiday wouldn’t check to see if their travel insurance covered an activity before carrying it out and 15% would do it even if their insurance didn’t cover it.
